Wool is one of the oldest textile fibres known to man. It has served the test of time becasue of its unique natural properties. There are many other textiles fibres, but as yet technology has not been able to produce another fibre containing all the natural properties of wool. Wool's soft density, resilience and warmth makes it healthy, it is difficult to ignite and natural fibre is non-allergenic.

RAM Australian three-layer double wool underblanket is made from the finest quality Australian Merino wool and has twice the comfort and softness of other underblankets. The first layer is a soft wool pile, which has been treated to keep it free from matting and resist flattening. The second is a deep, carded layer of pure wool, quilted to high quality 400 thread - count 100% cotton sateen. The special cushioning support assist in the relief of pain and discomfort on sensitive body areas allowing restful sleep.

The deep, springy layer allows air to circulate freely, providing an even temperature. Double wool is reversible, in summer you'll sleep cool and comfortable on the cotton quilted side, when nights become cold, simply turn the cosy, woollen side and you'll sleep comfortably all year round.
